Our sweet girl, Roxanna Perea Black born on May 13 ^th 2002, passed away on May 18 ^th 2020 at The University of Utah Hospital from a brain aneurysm caused by an unusual cluster of blood vessels on her brain stem.

Roxy spent May 13 ^th , her 18 ^th birthday with her love, Andrew Beckstead and their families, celebrating, laughing and loving each other.

She was a proud 2020 graduate of Bountiful High School. She was her mother's rock and strength. She was strong willed and fiercely stubborn. When she set her mind to something, she did it – and she did it her way.

Even in her last days, she did things exactly how she wanted. Roxy's last act of love and generosity was giving others the gift of life through organ donation.

Roxanna is survived by her parents Pedro Perea Guzman and Rebekah Black Perea. Siblings Alex, Alysha, Baruc, Dana and Dominick, 9 uncles 7 aunts and 20 cousins. Her Abuelito Justo, Abuelita Maria and Grandma Dana.

She is preceded in death by her Gramps and cousins Kazen and Angel.

Roxanna will be laid to rest in the Fairfield Cemetery.

Our family would like to send a special thanks to the airlift team, the University of Utah Hospital staff, the Donor Connect team and two very special nurses, Jason and Katie who showed such love and care for our girl.

A public viewing will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main Street, Lehi, Utah.
