Rudy Cervantes was born on December 7 th , 1956 in Perris, CA to Jesse and Joelene Cervantes. He met Ruth Watts driving her to church on a Sunday morning. They got married on March 28 th 1981 in a beautiful glass church in California. They moved to Utah in 1985, where Rudy and Ruth planted their roots in a sweet little home on a big beautiful lot.
Rudy was a welder, who used his talent for work as well as beautiful art pieces. He was an outdoorsman at his core, always telling his sons stories of his adventures camping, skiing and fly fishing in the Utah and Montana mountains. He loved taking his family camping everywhere from the Cherry Creek desert to the family cabin in Southern Utah.
Rudy was a true family man – his sons, family and close friends brought out the best in him. He was an amazing host, being fondly remembered for his amazing & entertaining cooking. He is survived by his wife Ruth Cervantes, his sons George and Jesse Cervantes, his brother Nickolas Cervantes and his sisters Deborah Cervantes and Carrie Allred.
Funeral services will be held on November 17 th , 2021 at the Milford Cemetery in Milford, UT at 1:00 PM. The viewing will be held at Southern Utah Mortuary in Milford, UT at 11:00 AM the same day.
