Ruth Ann Howard Larson, 86, of Lehi, Utah, died on September 23, 2020, surrounded by family.

Ruth Ann was born in Pocatello, Idaho on Dec. 17, 1933 to Martin and Vera Howard.

She was survived by her daughter Kristie(Mike) Condley, daughter- in -law, Joan(Brent) Larson, and son Howard(Stephanie)Larson, 12 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Von Larson, her son Brent("Boon") Larson, and her three siblings, Kay, Howard, Gary Howard, and Jean Peterson.

Ruth Ann graduated from Pocatello High School, then attended BYU, where she met her husband Von("Booner") Larson. They were married April 14, 1956 in Pocatello, ID. They built their first home and farm in Lehi, where they resided for many years. She helped run the farm, and taught her family the value of hard work. She was also employed by, and retired from Alpine School District, in the District Media Center. She committed her life to service, especially her family, friends, and neighbors. She was a talented cook and seamstress, and sewed dresses for all her granddaughters. Ruth Ann was a faithful member of the LDS church. She loved music, and served as the ward pianist/organist and played for the ward choir, and for multiple funerals. She was active and enjoyed traveling and camping, especially to Yellowstone, where she had worked as a young adult. Since Von's death, 24 years ago, she continued hosting and attending many family functions. She even continued to drive until 2018, when she moved to Spring Gardens Assisted Living for health reasons.

The family wishes to thank all the staff and residents there for the wonderful care they provided Ruth Ann.

Services will be held at Wings Mortuary 118 East Main Street in Lehi on Tuesday, September 29. A viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. and funeral services immediately following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Lehi City Cemetery. Please follow Covid guidelines and kindly wear masks.
