Obituary

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful baby boy, Samuel Ezra Snow, who left this world too soon at the tender age of 10 months. Born on June 17, 2024, at Mountain Point Hospital in Lehi, Utah, Samuel was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew him. He passed away in his mother's arms on April 27, 2025, in Saratoga Springs, Utah, from an unknown cause.

Samuel, lovingly known as Sam, Sammy, baby Sam, Angel (called by his mom) and by many other affectionate nicknames in English, Russian, and Tadjik brought immense joy to his loved ones. With a full head of dark, beautiful hair since birth, he captured the hearts of all who laid eyes on him. His smile and joyful spirit were contagious, and he was often seen poking out his tongue when he smiled.

Early on, Samuel displayed an immense love for the world around him. He admired and found great joy in giraffes, falling asleep hugging his puppy "Druzhók", as well as animals of all kinds, reflecting his loving, gentle, curious nature. He lit up when he was in his favorite swing at the park, kicking his legs with sheer delight as soon as he saw it. He had a particular love for wheel-like things and could often be found entranced by his car wheels or ceiling fans, over the bunnies and butterflies at Thanksgiving Point.

Samuel's love for music and dancing was evident as he took great pleasure in "head banging" to the rhythm, especially while playing the piano with his dad. He had long, delicate fingers that would have made him a concert pianist, and every time his dad approached the piano, Samuel would crawl with excitement, eager to join in the musical moments they shared.

He spoke his first word—"Mama"—at just six months old, quickly expanding his vocabulary to include "Mom", "Dada", his favorite word "Daddy", as well as "Bába", "all done", and his best word "green." At his most recent age of ten months, he would often be found pushing his walkers, piano stand-up toy, coffee table, and bar stools all around his house as he learned to walk. Samuel also loved books, starting the day with many books, especially the enchanting tale of Kolobók, sung sweetly by his mom. Every night, despite fussiness at bedtime, he would light up as his dad read his "Going-to-Bed" book.

Causing many strangers to assume he was a beautiful little girl, Samuel was a uniquely handsome little boy and was very charming and sweet to all who met him. He was shy, and took his time warming up to others, but when he smiled, his radiant joy and laughter was infectious. Sammy was everything to his parents, who cherished their precious boy as a special angel who filled their lives with peace, love, and boundless joy.

In addition to his parents, Zardis and Chase Snow, Samuel is survived by his four loving grandparents: Bobó Rustam, Bába Dilbar, Grandpa Mark Snow, and Grandma Julie Snow; his four great-grandparents, David and Margene Snow, Gail Quinton, and Umrinisso Radzhabova; four uncles: Jonathan Snow, Kyle Mollinet, Sukhrob Radjabov, and Kendall Morrison; and his many loving aunts: Tomiris Mollinet, Karly Morrison, Kate Snow, Grace Ann Snow, Brianna Snow, Farangiz Radzhabova, and Casey Snow Skoglie.

Though Samuel's time on earth was painfully brief, he has and will continue to touch countless lives with his love, joy, and sweet spirit. We will carry his memory in our hearts in this life, as we remember him not with sorrow but with gratitude for the love and joy he brought into our lives, and we look forward with anticipation for the Resurrection when we will once again hold him in our arms. Rest in peace, our sweet angel Samuel. You will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
