In Loving Memory of Sharon T. Harper
November 10, 1967 – May 23, 2025

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Sharon T. Harper, passed away peacefully at home on May 23, 2025, surrounded by loved ones, after a valiant battle with ALS.

Sharon was born on November 10, 1967, to Donna and Harold Tate. She grew up in a loving home and carried that same spirit of love and devotion throughout the entirety of her life and as she built her own family.

On March 16, 1991, Sharon was sealed for time and all eternity to her forever love, Shon William Harper, in the Salt Lake City Temple. Together, they shared 34 beautiful years, building a life full of faith, laughter, and family. Sharon was a mother of three children, Alan, Jake, and Codee and the best Nanny to her precious granddaughter, Piper.

Sharon found joy amongst her family in the quiet places that brought her closer to her Heavenly Father—especially at the family cabin, her "Heaven on Earth." She loved being outdoors, whether jeeping, fishing, boating at Lake Powell, working with horses, or traveling. Sharon was an avid Disney fan and would travel to Disneyland as often as she could. Her happiest moments were spent with family, often in the kitchen where she shared her love through cooking and teaching others her cherished recipes.

A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Sharon lived a life of charity and service. She had an unwavering testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and The Plan of Salvation, she brought peace to all who knew her. She embraced every opportunity to serve in her community and serve in callings, she especially loved being a temple worker.

She is survived by her husband, Shon; her children: Alan (Kelsie), Jake (Jayci), and Codee (Brock); and her precious granddaughter, Piper. She is also survived by her siblings: Danny (Joan), Denny (Vanessa), Debbie, John (Gerri), Kevin (Chris), Susan, Cheri (Thomas), Heather (Jesse), and David (Dee).

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Donna Tate, and her in-laws, William and Colleen Harper.

The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to those who helped care for Sharon during her illness, especially her beloved ALS Clinic and Hospice teams—Dez, Heidi, April, Shelia, and Cassie—who she lovingly called her "angels".

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 11:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 200 North Center Street, Lehi, UT 84043. The family will receive friends for a viewing at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 200 North Center Street, Lehi, UT 84043, Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and at the church the morning of the funeral from 9:30am to 10:30am prior to services. Interment will follow in the Lehi Cemetery, Lehi, Utah.
