Sheri Michelle Perkins Brown

On October 21, 1970 , Sheri was born in Waltham, Massachusetts to Norman and Patricia Perkins. She was later joined by her little brother, Mike. In 1976, Sheri and her family moved to Lehi, Utah. She attended Lehi Elementary, Lehi Junior High, and graduated from Lehi High School.

Growing up, Sheri loved spending time with her family. Sheri loved her brother Mike more than anything. He meant the world to her. She loved Mike. Especially when he brought his cute guy friends over. Growing up, Sheri made a lot of friends. She loved everyone, and could not stand seeing someone get bullied. If Sheri saw someone sitting alone at lunch, she would go sit by them and become their friend. Sheri always thought the world of her friends.

Sheri bought her first car, which was a Ford Pinto. She didn't care it had a dent on the front fender. She was more excited to show it to her friends and drive them around. Sheri started helping out at the snack stand at the baseball field that her Mom ran. Later Sheri started working at the pizza place where some of her family worked. She made even more friends there.

Sheri married Chad Asay. They had three kids together, Shylo, Shandy and Skyler. Sheri loved her kids more than anything, and would do anything to see her kids happy. Later Sheri got divorced. She then married Jason King, who passed away 6 years later.

In 2016, Sheri met Kenneth Brown. She met him while working at Turn Community Services. Later that year they got married. In 2017, Sheri welcomed her first grand-baby, Neveah. A short time later, she welcomed her first grandson, Alex. In 2019 she welcomed two more grand-babies, Benson and Jaclyn.

Sheri lost her job at Turn Community Services, and started working at Abbington Manor in Lehi as a housekeeper. She always told her loved ones that she didn't want to be a CNA. She wanted to be the housekeeper because she could talk to the residents more, get to know them, and make friends. Sheri then welcomed her last grandbaby, Davin, in 2021.

Sheri loved her grandkids more than anything. She was there for all Doctor appointments, and calling them many times a day. Her grandkids were her pride and joy.

Sheri has touched so many people's lives. She had a big impact on everyone around her and always did what she could to help.

On June 1 ^st , Sheri was finally able to have knee surgery. She was so excited to get the surgery done so she could travel more, and do more with her grandkids. On June 5 ^th , Sheri was called home to heaven. She passed away in Lehi, UT with family members surrounding her.

Sheri is survived by her husband Ken Brown, mother Pat Perkins, daughters Shylo Michelle Asay and Shandy Lynn Assay, son Skyler Paul Asay, and grandchildren Neveah, Alexander Kenneth, Benson, Jayclyn Rose, Armondo, and Davin.

Sheri will be deeply missed by so many people. We love you, Sheri!

Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 9, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Lehi 2nd Ward Building 465 East 300 North Lehi, Utah. A viewing will be held on Thursday starting at 10:00 a.m. till the time of the service. Interment Lehi City Cemetery.
