Our sweet sister, Susie (Susan Girot), passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 1, 2026. Through it all, she always kept that same (mischievous) smile.

We will miss her dearly, but are comforted knowing she is no longer in pain and is finally at peace. We are grateful that her struggles are over.

And when death finds me,

I hope it whispers,

“Come now,

 the fight is done,”

and takes my hand gently,

like an old friend

who understands

why I’m so tired.

From The Final Pause

We love you, Susie. You will always be in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth (Betty) Girot; her father, Dominick Girot; and her sister, Barbara Girot.

She is survived by her sisters, Ann Marie (Annie) Taliaferro and Tina Jackson; her brother, Micheal Girot; their significant others; and numerous nieces and nephews, who will lovingly cherish her memory.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 1:00pm at the Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East, Lehi, Utah.
