Suzanne Wilcken Hadfield, aged 79, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on July 30, 2022. Born December 28, 1942 in Salt Lake City to Carl and Maurine Wilcken, Suzanne grew up in Fillmore and Pleasant Grove with her parents and two sisters. After graduating from Pleasant Grove High School, she became a licensed cosmetologist. While working in a hair salon, she met her husband, Douglas Heber Hadfield of Lehi. They were married July 1, 1965 in the Salt Lake Temple and raised six children in their Lehi home.

Suzanne was active in her LDS community and faithfully executed many callings as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life. Her hands created many beautiful things through playing the piano, crocheting, sewing, crafting, and decorating cakes. She was a meticulous seamstress. She made many beautiful prom and wedding dresses. Her artistic abilities were incredible, from painting to porcelain dolls to ceramics. There was really nothing artistically she couldn't do. For decades, Suzanne beautified neighbors' hair in her kitchen salon. She took pride in her work and everything she made was beautifully crafted.

Suzanne is survived by her husband of 57 years, Douglas Hadfield, her children Nathan and Melissa Hadfield, Stacey and Channing Lowe, Lezlee and Nathan Pollmann, Sara and Mark McCormick, and Megan and Sam Weight. She is also survived by 15 devoted grandchildren and her sister, Jill Wilcock. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Kaylynn Ash, and her beloved daughter Amanda Hadfield Beck.

A visitation will be held on August 3, 2022 at 10:00 am and funeral services at 11:00 am at the Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main Street, Lehi, Utah.
