Tamara Joyce McDaniel, 71, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family.  She was born on October 3, 1952 in Provo, Utah to Clyde and Cleo Nelson of Payson, Utah.  She was the 10th child out of 12 total children.
She married Lewis Dale McDaniel in 1974 and was later divorced.

Tamara received her diploma late in life while working and raising a family.  She worked at American Fork Hospital for 44 years in the medical records department, where she built great friendships that lasts forever.  She was loved by everyone who knew her.  Friends became family quickly.  She loved her family, her kids and grandkids were huge part of her life.  Tamara was a very giving person who would help anyone in need that is what she loved to do.

Survived by son Brandon McDaniel of Lehi, Utah, daughter Heidi Wallin of Gillette, Wyoming, 5 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, 3 sisters and 1 brother (Mary, Karen, Starla and Harold).  Preceded in death by son Matthew K. Millstead, daughter Amie Lou McDaniel, parents and 2 brothers (LaNeal and Gordon), 2 sisters (Bernice and Melanie), exhusband Lewis Dale McDaniel.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 East Main, Lehi, Utah.  Family and friends may call Wednesday evening at the Mortuary from  6-8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be held in the Lehi City Cemetery.
