Tamra Robbins
Jones
Feb 23, 1940 — Dec 12, 2023
On a beautiful Tuesday afternoon, December 12 2023, our Angel mother, Tamra Jones, was called back to her heavenly home. She was greeted by many loved ones who were eagerly waiting for her return. She passed away unexpectedly from a brief intense illness and was surrounded by her family who loves her dearly. We are assured that her reunion was joyous and sweet.
We are heartbroken that she is gone and yet so grateful for her life and legacy. The Savior will heal our wounds as we mourn her loss. We know she will be watching out for her family and guiding us from above.
Tamra was born on February 23, 1940 in Payson to Ella Mae Bona and Lester Robbins. She would begin her life with a few obstacles, but she would see them as opportunities to grow and lift others with her positive and loving influence. She knew how to make everyone feel special and important.
She loved the beauties of the world and always had a song in her heart. She found peaceful moments in nature and the melodies of the birds. She enjoyed gardening and you would always find her tenderly caring for her colorful flowers during the Spring/Summer months. She loved all of God's creations especially her puppies.
Tamra left volumes of journals, written advice and council to her children and grandchildren. These treasures will be discovered, handed down and cherished for many generations to come.
She enjoyed her membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She could see the needs of others and lovingly ministered to them over the years. Tamra treasured the blessing of service as an ordinance worker in the Mt Timpanogos Temple for many years.
She was married to her sweetheart, Dale Jones on May 5, 1956 in Bennion, Utah. They were later sealed in the Manti Temple July 19, 1958 and have created 67 years of cherished memories together.
She temporarily leaves behind her loving husband, Dale, and children: Cheryl (Bart) Anthony, Charlene (Curtis) Heaton, Jannette (Mike) Uhl, Darren (Shellie) Jones, and Tammy (Max) Berry
31 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild. Her siblings: brother David (LaJune) Robbins, sisters Glenna Molyneux and Irene (Ted) May. Preceded in death are Douglas Dale Jones (son), Jex Jones (grandson), DonRay McNeill (brother) and Forrest McNeill (brother).
Friends and family are invited to the viewing on Friday, December 15, 6:00-8:00 pm at Wing Mortuary, 118 E Main St. Lehi.
