Our special angel Terri Barney passed away peacefully Friday, January 14, 2022. Terri was born in Chula Vista, California on August 23, 1957, daughter of Leora and Ephriam Barney.

Terri graduated from Lehi High School in 1976 and lived in Lehi her whole life. She was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and fulfilled many callings. She loved her ward family, who were a wonderful support for her.

She enjoyed playing tennis, volleyball, riding her bike, and watching football—go Kansas City Chiefs and BYU Cougars!

Terri was a big Elvis fan and had a lot of memorabilia. Her greatest love was her family and her membership in the Church. She enjoyed her home and her beloved dogs.

She is survived by sisters Joy Savage (John) and Peggy Skog (Ron), brother Jay Barney (Sherri), her aunt Karran Danielson and her beloved dog Crockett. She is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews, many grandnieces and grandnephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by both parents, brothers Jim Barney, Roger Barney and nephew John Jay Barney.

The family wishes to thank the excellent care from health care workers, loving family and church members.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main Street in Lehi from 9 a.m. to 10: 45 a.m., with funeral services at 11 a.m., also at Wing Mortuary. Interment will be at Lehi City Cemetery.

Terri's service will be live streamed on our Wing Mortuary Facebook Page, when the funeral starts.
