Tom passed away on August 23, 2024 at the age of 84. He is survived by his wife of nearly 64 years, Maureen Anderton and children Sheri (Tim) Harlow, Duane (Robin Reno) Anderton and Arnold (Britta) Anderton, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his son Thomas D Anderton, parents Violet and Albert Anderton, his biological father Darwin Richardson and siblings John Anderton, Louis Anderton, Ray Anderton and Betty Goodwin.

Tom joined the Army at the age of 16 and served in Germany. He built a life for his family through the trade of building. He could build literally anything, no matter how complicated. Eventually, he starting a successful company, Classic Drywall Systems.

He loved the outdoors and had numerous hobbies including camping, hunting, boating, waterskiing, fishing and exploring new places. He decided to learn to fly planes and got his pilot's license and his own small airplane and enjoyed taking it out for flights.

We will be celebrating his extraordinary life on September 4, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Alpine Bible Church, 310 East State Street, Lehi, UT 84043. In the spirit of celebration, feel free to wear colorful clothing.
