Timothy Hamilton Milligan was born on May 2, 1954, in Baytown, Texas, the third child of John Luther Milligan and Mildred Maxine Gardner Milligan. He passed from this life suddenly and unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Saturday November 23, 2024, at his home in Lehi, Utah.

Tim spent his early years in a number of cities while his family moved many times in the construction business for The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints. Having returned to Baytown in the summer of 1967, Tim graduated from Ross S. Sterling High School, served as a missionary for the church in northern California and southern Oregon, then attended and graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Later, he received an M.B.A. from University of Houston in Texas.  Tim had a great career spending most of his working years as a facilities manager for major oil and gas companies. Only recently did he and his wife relocate to Lehi, Utah, in great part to spend more time with their son, Parker.

Tim met the love of his life, Elma Hernandez Milligan at a church dance in Houston in 1980 and they were married in the Dallas, Texas Temple on August 14, 1987. After a battle with cancer, Tim and Elma welcomed their "miracle baby" and their only child, Parker Andres Milligan on June 28, 1995. Tim was a dedicated husband, father, BYU Cougar fan, and servant of the Lord throughout his mortal life.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Colleen Wooten, three nephews, Michael Milligan, Tim Milligan, Marcus Milligan and wife Tara, and great nephews Finn Milligan and Conor Milligan. He is also predeceased by nieces Leanne Milligan, and great nieces Teresa Milligan and Nora Milligan. He is survived by his wife Elma, son Parker, brothers Michael, Patrick, David and Kevin, sister Maureen Pierce, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tim was dubbed the fun uncle by his nieces and nephews and has been referred to as the "FUNCLE". At family events, it wasn't uncommon to find him with little ones climbing all over him. Tim will be sorely missed here on earth, but we can only imagine the reunion he is experiencing on the other side.

There will be a viewing for family and friends on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 10:00 am to 11:15 am at 1998 West 900 North St., Lehi, Utah 84043 with funeral services immediately following at 11:30 am. There will be no graveside service. A memorial service will be held in Texas at a later date.
