Todd G Duke

Todd G Duke (Toddly), our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, coworker, and friend, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, October 20th 2026

Todd was born on August 11, 1964, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Todd grew up in Taylorsville, Utah, and graduated high school at Taylorsville High School. Todd was a hard worker who began working at just 14 years old at Roll-In Donuts. He went on to dedicate his life to the medical industry, working as an EMT before becoming a Business Operations Coordinator at Select Health, where he worked until his passing.

Todd deeply loved his family and devoted much of his life to caring for his mom and stepfather. He made sure his mom always had fresh flowers each week and took great care of her. He was more than just an uncle to his nieces, Aubree Harvath and Emily Duke, and nephews, Dalan Duke and Ben Harvath. He was their biggest cheerleader, confidant, and lifelong friend. He was an amazing friend and brother in-law to Jerrie Duke (GG) and Peggy Duke. He loved going to the family property in the mountains where he enjoyed riding his 4-Wheeler and snowmobile. A lifelong animal lover, he cherished his golden retrievers and found joy in their companionship.

Todd lived a life known for his kindness, humor, and willingness to help anyone. If someone was in need, he always went above and beyond, offering support with genuine care and quiet generosity. Todd was always very thoughtful and had a giving spirit. He made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Todd is survived by Kathy and Glade Symes, his brothers Kevin Duke (Peggy), Bryan Duke (Jerrie), niece Aubree Harvath (Benton), Nephew Dalan Duke (Emily).

He is preceded in death by his dad, Gerald (Paddy) Duke; Aunt Connie Johnson; Cousin Ethan Hearty; Grandma and Grandpa Duke; Grandma and Grandpa Birdsall; and his beloved dogs-Meg, Jake, Lacey, Bailey.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1125 West 300 North. A viewing will begin at 10:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at noon. Interment will be at the Salt Lake City Cemetery at 3:00 pm.
