Toni Jane D'Amico Gurney, 75, passed away surrounded by loved ones on November 19, 2022. Born January 16, 1947, in Provo, Utah to Vernon and Ida D'Amico.

She worked as a waitress and part time at her father's shoe repair shop. She married Howard Leon Gurney on October 25, 1968, and they made their home in Lehi, Utah. They enjoyed archery, fishing, collecting coins and antiques, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. In 1979, they opened the Coin Trade Center which they owned and operated together for 26 years. She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed genealogy, and was active in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She had a love for helping people and animals in any way that she could. Her generosity was unmatched. She truly was an earth angel.

She would light up any room she entered, and her inner child was always on the surface. She loved Smokey Bear, Ty Beanies Babies, and Muffy dolls. She especially loved sharing them with her grandchildren. She had a room in her house dedicated to displaying her collections, she called it her playroom and spent many hours in there. She was truly an extraordinary lady that will be greatly missed by many.

She is survived by her two daughters: Annette Ault and Angela Gurney, six grandchildren: Brandon (Lawrie) Thomas, Bridget (Brandon) Covington, Cody Rasmussen, Tyrell (Chelsea) Ault, Courtney (Chad) Rasmussen, and Colton (Sabrina) Rasmussen, five great-grandchildren: Brady Thomas, Riley Thomas, Bo Thomas, Luke Thomas, and Milly Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. Gurney; father, Vernon D'Amico; mother, Ida Brown D'Amico; and sister, Brenda Nicol.

Services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 11:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 9th ward church, 481 East 399 North, Lehi, Utah. There will be a closed casket viewing 10:00am at the church prior to the services. Burial will be at the Lehi City Cemetery.
