Our Buddy, a son, a brother, and an uncle, tragically took his life the morning of March 5, 2023.

For those of you who really knew Buddy, knew he was passionate and protective of those he loved, especially his nieces and nephews. He had a love for the outdoors, fishing, farmers markets, growing his own food, and making spices. He had a passion for cooking and experimenting with different flavors and dishes.

Buddy was brilliant, filled with ideas and thoughts that had the ability to change the world, unfortunately his brilliant mind trapped him in an alternate reality that changed his fate and left a void in everyone's world forever.

Buddy is preceded in death by his loving best friend & Grandpa Jim, both grandparents on his father's side, aunts, uncles, cousins and a great niece.

Buddy is survived by a loving, strong but grief-stricken mother, Marcella Goldston; brothers, Clay (Marin) Goldston, and Nathaniel Goldston; sisters, Martina (Benjamin) Jensen, Heather Goldston, and Ashley Goldston; grammy, Sumiko Martin; nephews, Tanner, Ezra, Jonas, and Zeke; nieces, Alyssa, Maddisyn, Maisie, and Claire; great nephew, Benjamin; great nieces, River, Emma, and Scarlett; a father, Thomas Goldston; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be forever loved and deeply missed.

Suicide claims too many countless victims and leaves the loved ones hurt, lost, confused, and left behind with questions that can never be answered. There is no shame in mental illness. We need to speak up and speak out to get rid of the negative stigma surrounding it.

Buddy's death will not be in vain. His depression has been heard, and will continue to be heard in hopes that people will speak up so others may never feel this same pain.

Viewing will be held at the LDS Church (220 W. 200 S., Lehi, UT 84043) on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 10-11:00 A.M. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M.
