Trudy Jane
Grace Karren
Sep 2, 1951 — Nov 26, 2020
Trudy Jane Grace Karren, 69, left this mortal existence on 26 November 2020 at her home surrounded by her family and friends after a quick battle with liver and kidney failures. Trudy was born on 2 September 1951. She was the third daughter of Joshua and Ella Thayne Grace. She was a graduate of American Fork High School in 1969. She married Robert Kent Karren in the Salt Lake Temple on 3 September 1970. They were able to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in September.
Trudy was a gifted artist and craftsman that was able to create with any medium; stained glass, leather goods, silversmithing and painting were her recent passions. She was a loving and caring person. Her main earthly goal in life was to be a mom. She was a perfect mom not only to her children but all her kid's friends and anybody that she would meet. She was the glue that held many relationships together. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in several callings. She was president of the Young Women's organization, several Relief Society positions, devoted visiting minister, and an avid decorator for any function or anyone who would ask. She designed and managed a beautiful home and yard and was always willing to share whatever was needed. She put together many weddings, several of which with only an hour notice.
She is survived by her husband Robert Kent Karren, and her children John (Melissa) Karren of Pleasant Grove, Russell (Natalie) Karren of Tooele, Brandon (Tricia) Karren of Saratoga Springs, Jamie (Kyle) Blaisdell of Orem, and Jaxon (Nicole) Karren of Spanish Fork. She is also survived by Anita (Cliff) Norman of Marana, Arizona, Robert (Cheryl) Grace of Pleasant Grove, Mark Grace of Ferron, Ned (Cherry) Grace of Levan, and Clint (Bonnie) Grace of Sandy. She had 18 precious grandchildren that she adored. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Christine Grace Deveraux.
