Verl Kay Hebertson, July 21,1937-January 3, 2022
Verl was born July 21, 1937, and passed away January 3, 2022 at the age of 84. He grew up in Lehi Utah and was the son of Wallace and Elvira Hebertson.
He grew up in Lehi and graduated from Lehi High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1955-1959, he was a Gunner for the VP 21 Squadron. While serving in the Navy he married Barbara Darling, from Old Orchard Beach Maine, in May of 1958. They had two children, Teresa and Don Hebertson. They later divorced. He married Carol Ault from Cedar Fort on July 17, 1962. She had 2 children, Laurie Cook Frazier, and Dana Cook.
His wife, Carol and her daughter, Laurie preceded him in death. His brother Wally LaVaul Hebertson, and sister, Atha Pierce Moss also preceded him in death.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and camping. He was an Electronic Tech with Univac, and later went into Real Estate. He was a co-owner of Mountainland Realty in Pleasant Grove, Utah until he retired.
Verl loved flying and built and flew Kit Planes. He helped develop the West Desert Airpark near Fairield, Utah and helped promote Rocky Mountain Kit Planes.
With their combined families he had 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Verl was the sweetest, kindest man you could ever meet. We will miss him.
There will be a Viewing from 10 am to 12 pm and a Memorial Service at 12 noon at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main in Lehi, Utah on Monday, January 10th, Burial will be at the Lehi Cemetery.
