On August 1st, 2021 Vonny passed away from Parkinson's disease. Vonny was born June 5th, 1951 in Riverside California to his parents Graville Clarkson Bemis and Vera La Von Spyker. He was raised in La Sierra, California.

He graduated in 1970 from Norte Vista High School. In August of 1970 he was called to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to the Central British Mission. While he was there it became The England Central Mission. When he returned he met his future wife Ruth Abbie Noyes at a single adult activity. They dated for 3 months and then were married and sealed for time and all eternity in the Los Angeles, California Temple on March 31st, 1973. They had a son Paul Albert Bemis born in 1974 and a daughter Kathy Lynn Bemis born in 1975.

In 1976 the family moved to Atwater, California where they lived until 1985. Then Santee, California for 2 years. They returned to central California. Then in 1994 they moved to Utah where they still resided at the time of his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Truman and Larry, and three grandchildren. He is survived by his forever wife Ruth, son Paul (Meiling), daughter Kathy (James) Morris, his grandchildren; Ryan (Shae) Bemis, Kaden Morris, Husten Morris, Lillian Bemis, Kamryn Morris, Ethan Bemis, Kyson Morris, Asher Morris, and Zaylee Morris, his great grandchildren; Breklynn and Dayton Bemis.

Per his wishes his body will be cremated and no public services will be held. His family wishes to thank the loving, caring staff at Stonehenge Skilled Nursing in American Fork, Utah where he was a patient at the time of his passing.
