Warren Francis Brandow III left this life on Wednesday October 6, 2021. He was greeted in the next life by his sister Patricia Anne Brandow and his parents Warren Francis Brandow Jr and Beverly Maxine Rose of Poway, California.Warren (Brub) was born August 7, 1942 in Rochester, New York. He was the second of 4 children and had three sisters. He is survived by his sisters Shonna and Janine (Beverly.)
Warren attended Purdue University and earned a degree in Aviation Mechanics. After graduating he was hired by United Air Lines as an aircraft mechanic. Shortly after that he earned his commercial pilot license and was hired by United as a pilot. Warren retired from United Air Lines 37 years later in 2002 as a Boeing 747 captain.
While attending Purdue University Warren met Sandra Jean Erwin. They married August 1, 1964 and had three children, Warren Francis IV, Kenneth William, and Brian Patrick. They later moved to San Diego, California where they divorced in 1973.
In 1974 Warren met Retta-Marie Likes, who had two children, Kimberli and Carl. They were married May 16, 1975 in Poway, California. While there, Warren joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and they had one son, Lance Edward. They moved to Lehi, Utah in 1978 and had two more children Shauntai Marie and Benteen Darrell. They raised all 8 of their children in Utah County. They divorced in 1997.
Warren married Joan Simper, who had 4 daughters, Niki, Natilie, Jammie and Jennifer on November 26, 1998. They spent most of their married life living in the log home in Pleasant Grove being loving grandparents to their grandchildren.
Warren worked hard and he played hard. If he wasn't flying airplanes or working on his 5 acres of land, he could be found in the great Utah outdoors. He loved riding horses in the mountains. He loved elk hunting with his boys. He loved skiing, boating, and hiking… and he loved doing it all with family.
Warren is survived by his wife, Joan, and their 12 children:

He is also survived by their 47 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
We will miss him sorely.
His funeral will be held in Lehi at 11:00am on Saturday, October 9, 2021. The address is:
