Warren was born in Yale, Oklahoma to Warren Samuel Stafford Senior and Gladys Stafford. He was active in academics and sports and graduated as valedictorian with a four-point GPA.

Over the years he has kept in touch with many of his classmates from high school. He met his wife, Barbara Tucker, while working summers in southern Oregon. They both graduated from Oklahoma State University, Warren with a degree in Business Administration in 1962.

He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the end of his freshman year. He and Barbara raised a son and daughter in northern California, who both later graduated from BYU. While in California, he worked for Georgia-Pacific in an administrative role and served as Bishop and in the High Council.

The couple lived in Oregon again, and most recently in Utah with their daughter's family. He passed during the early morning of March 23rd, 2022 of circulatory issues. He was surrounded by his loving wife and children (Kimberli and Michael) and son-in-law Todd Lawson.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren (Logan and Katelyn) and supporting them in their various activities. He also enjoyed
reading, studying and spending time with his enormous collection of books and publications.

Funeral Services and a viewing will be held at Wing Mortuary at 4:00pm-6:00pm Saturday March 26th, 2022. An open-house will also be held at
Kimberli and Todd Lawson's home Sunday afternoon March 27th, 2022.
