Whitney Kathleen Wathen

Whitney Kathleen Wathen passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, September 6th, 2026. She was born April 29th 1984 to Bruce Wathen and Kathy Sharpe Covington. She attended schools in the area, graduating from Àmerican Fork High.

Whitney had a fun, bubbly personality ànd was a friend to all. She was never ashamed to be herself ànd strove to help others feel the same, judging no one.

Whitney always wanted to be a mom more than anything else. She loved her children and was fiercely loyal to them, standing up for them in every situation.

Whitney leaves behind a husband, Christian and his parents, along with her two children, Hazel and Leo. She also leaves behind many siblings, step-mother, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandmas, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, sisters, two grandfathers and a step-father.

Whitney leaves us all too soon. She is loved by many and will be sorely missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 16th, 2026 at Lehi City Cemetery. A viewing will be held just prior at Wing Mortuary at 11:00 am, 118 East Main Street, Lehi, Utah.
