William Arthur Colson

1941-2020

Our wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, William Arthur Colson, 79, passed away on October 6th, 2020. William was born on July 11, 1941 in Teaneck, New Jersey to William John Colson III and Una Muriel Bowman.

He graduated from Vashon High School in 1959. William studied commercial art and political science in college. He met the love of his life, Daryl Rogers, nee Pedroza in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1975. They were married on June 12th, 1976.

He is survived by his wife, Daryl Pedroza Colson, their daughter Ann (Terry) LaCrue, daughters by his first marriage, Heather (Phillip) Hicks, Andrea (Peter) Wenker, Rebecca (Ray) Archuletta, step son James (Lori) Rogers, step daughter Ellen Rogers, 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his Sister, Karen Lee. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A private cremation will be held on October 15th, 2020 and an intimate gathering in honor of William will be held on October 17th, 2020.

A special thank you to all the caregivers at Point Meadows Care Facility and Hospice (Dana, Cory, Laree and Brook) for the care, comfort and love they provided for Bill.
