Our dear Husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend, Roy Forest Littleford passed away September 27th 2015. He has left an amazing legacy of love, service and truly endured to the end.

He was born on September 30th 1931 in Lehi, Utah to Seth Littleford and Thelma Richins Littleford. He loved his brother Mark Littleford and his sister Joyce Rundell

He graduated from Lehi High School and continued his education at Trade Tech in Provo Utah.

He was a staff sergeant in the Utah National Guard for 16 years. He then worked as a surveyor and Draftsman for Utah Power and Light for 32 years.

He married Lois Wing in the Salt Lake Temple on May 25th 1953 and they have been blessed with 3 loving children Debbie (Jeff) Sermon. Julie (Dave) Hunt, and Blake (Elaine) Littleford.

They were also blessed with 12 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandsons and a great granddaughter.

He had a love for people and a love of serving people. Everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him could feel his love and true concern for their well being.

When he retired at the early age of 55 from Utah Power and Light he started working with wood and converted his garage into a wood shop. He excelled in this craft and so many people have been blessed by this talent.

He and Lois had the pleasure of serving as ordinance workers for 10 years in the Mount Timpanogs temple. They were called as full time missionaries at the MTC in Provo Utah where they touched the lives of countless missionaries and continued to serve for more then 15 years as volunteers helping prepare and send missionaries all over the world.

"…he breaketh the bands of death, that the grave shall have no victory, and that the sting of death should be swallowed up in the hopes of glory" (Alma 22:14)

The family wishes to express deep appreciation for the staff at Stonehenge Rehab Center in American Fork as well as doctors and nurses that cared for him.

We also appreciate the love and professional care given by the Wing Mortuary.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 1st at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main Street, from 6-8pm. The funeral will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 2nd with a viewing prior to the service from 9:30-11:00am at the Lehi 5th Ward Chapel, 481 East 300 North, Lehi, Utah.
