It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Garrett Randall Pace, age 23, who left this earth on March 25, 2025, in a tragic accident. Garrett was born on November 28, 2001, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Brandon D Pace and Kylene Hardman Pace. He is survived by his parents and brother, Nikolas Parker. Garrett is also survived by his beloved wife, Maurin Elizabeth Cole Pace who he married and was sealed to in the Draper, Utah Temple on August 25, 2023, by her parents, Mathew A and Hilarie M Cole, and his in-laws, Caden, Kambrie, Joslyn, Zach, Landon, and Kaitlin. Garrett's surviving grandparents are Colleen Ball Paul Sorensen, Jayleen Paul Hill, Paul Walker Hardman, Lora Lee Manning Hardman, Karen Hind, Doug Hind, Susan Stephson, and Bruce Stephson.

Garrett was blessed with many God-given talents, which he magnified and used to bless others. With his incredible mind, attention to detail, and skilled hands, he embraced the challenges of designing, creating, rebuilding, and engineering all things mechanical, wood, and metal. If anyone ever questioned his ability to do something, Garrett's determination always proved them wrong. Garrett had a career as a master custom metal fabricator, and created beautiful, intricate metal work at Historical Arts & Casting, Inc. From a young age, Garrett exhibited a natural athleticism and competitive spirit. He enjoyed playing most sports, but especially soccer and baseball. He loved riding motorcycles, spending time outdoors, fishing, and mastering the art of cooking on the Traeger grill.

Though Garrett's life was tragically short, he lived it to the fullest, leaving a profound impact on all who knew him. He was wise and mature beyond his years, continuously learning and growing through his passion for knowledge. His relentless perseverance, combined with his unshakable determination, led him to an accomplished career and enduring relationships. Garrett radiated kindness, compassion, and forgiveness, and was always striving to serve others. He was deeply committed to his family, friends, faith, and his Savior, Jesus Christ. Garrett's greatest passion was being the best husband and eternal companion he could be to his wife, who he adored beyond measure.

Though Garrett will be remembered and missed every day, his legacy of love, service, perseverance, and commitment will continue to inspire those who knew him.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. at the Holbrook Farms 6th Ward Building, 2482 North 3130 West, Lehi, Utah.

Close family and friends will honor and celebrate Garrett's life together at the Holbrook Farms 6th Ward Building, beginning at 4:00 p.m. Those who wish to share memories are invited to do so beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Garrett will forever be remembered as a Christ-like, loving husband, son, brother, and friend. His impact, though brief, was profound and lasting.
